Yuxin Chuancai is a Sichuan restaurant located in an unsuspecting office building. Its location doesn’t prevent it to be very popular and to be one of the best Sichuan restaurants in Shanghai. For those not yet familiarized with the local Sichuan cuisine, get ready for a culinary adventure. The wait staff leads you to your table through a labyrinthine interior, constantly teeming with satisfied diners. Must-orders include spicy water boiled fish, spicy frog, and lettuce in peanut sauce and beef cooked in boiling oil heated by hot stones.
